This semester seems like it's simultaneously zooming by and dragging on. I want May 16 to be here, like, tomorrow, and I want time to stop because I feel behind and overwhelmed by school. It's an odd paradox.
Spring break was last week and Chris and I went home. It was perfect. I hardly touched my computer all week, and I did not take a single picture.
Jumping back in Monday was not easy. The day was made a little better by some encouraging news in the job hunt and a rockin' grade on my Wireless midterm, but in general, I was pretty blah all day.
I would be behind anybody who could make it a law that the day after vacation should only be a half day.
I'm Leah. I love making pretty things with fabric, paper, and sometimes, pixels and fonts. These days, though, it's mostly fabric. I also love tv on dvd and sometimes I talk about my cats too much. I live in Alexandria, VA, with my husband Chris and our son Joey, who was born on Christmas Eve last year. Chris is a musician in The US Army Band "Pershing's Own", and I make quilts and sell them in a little shop.
