I am constantly struggling with balance between two parts of my personality. On one hand, I want to travel and try new things and be adventurous! On the other, I need to sit at home on weekends with hot tea and Google Reader and NPR podcasts.
Weekends are when I tackle my lists. My list of projects and plans and to-dos is almost as long as the list of places I've never been to. And weekends are so short.
I'm not sure how to balance it out. Watching less tv would help. Tivo is one of my favorite inventions, but I spend a lot more time on the couch than I would if I could only watch shows live.
One thing I know is being with Chris refreshes me faster than all the hot tea in the world. And it's easier to plan adventures when you live with your fellow adventurer. 100 days til married!
