Friday nights are my absolute favorite nights to go to a Rangers game, because almost every week they do a fireworks show after the game. If there is a summer activity I love as much as going to baseball games, it is watching fireworks.
The weather was gorgeous and we had great seats. We appeared to be in a family section, which I generally prefer because a) there are fewer obnoxious drunkies and b) small children appreciate my enthusiasm. They are the first to join in when I get a chant going.
The Rangers were up 3-0 after the first inning and it only got better from there. Final score: 7-3. YEAH. Go Rangers!
