Saturday I did something new and went to a meeting of the DC Modern Quilt Guild. It was a lot of fun! All of the other quilters were so nice, and it was fun to see everyone else's (very cool) projects. Going by myself to hang out with a group of strangers is normally out of my comfort zone, but I'm glad I got brave and did it anyway.
I started and finished a simple patchwork quilt top for 100 Quilts for Kids, an annual charity quilt drive that the guild hosts.
It's small and simple, and I plan to quilt it on my sewing machine, so I should be able to finish it up this week!
