It's late and I'm ready for bed so let's get to it!
Joey's new favorite game: "falling" backwards and hanging upside down.
The weather was so perfect so we took a walk in the morning to Starbucks.
And when we got home, this beautiful harbinger of fall was waiting on our stoop.
I ordered a pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks, and the barista asked if I was feeling adventurous. Obviously I said yes, so he added two pumps of chai syrup to my drink to make it a pumpkin PIE latte. You know, if the whole milk pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream isn't indulgent enough for you. (It was incredibly delicious.)
Chris mowed our weeds.
Two of my aunts came over! My aunt Mary had never met Joey before so that was exciting.
They awesomely took us to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.
Chris and my aunt Mary.
Chris had to leave from the restaurant to go to work, but the rest of us stayed in Old Town for a bit. We wandered around the Torpedo Factory Art Center, which was a lot of fun.
Look at those colors! I was really taken with this artist's work. If I ever win the lottery I'll buy a few pieces to furnish my new house.
The weather was so great—everyone was there!
Lots fewer pictures yesterday...I think I'm losing some steam. But five days down, not too shabby. Today we are headed to Shenendoah to go camping! I'm really excited. Obviously, no post tomorrow morning, but I'll continue the project and share later. Happy weekend!
