Next week I'm participating in Kid's Clothes Week for the first time, and I'm really excited! It's a simple concept: a bunch of people sign up to spend an hour a day for seven days sewing clothing for your kid. I've "watched" it happen online a couple times now, and I'm joining in on the next one (which starts April 7).
I decided to go ahead and prep everything I'm planning. All the cutting is the worst part, so I wanted to get it out of the way so I can focus on just the sewing...as you can see I may be a bit overambitious!
I'm planning to make an Oliver + S trench coat, a Bimaa hoodie (two if all goes well!), and the Oliver + S Art Museum Vest and Trousers, which will be Joey's Easter outfit. It's funny to be heading into spring and planning mostly outerwear, but spring is off to a cold, wet start here and Joey needs a few jackets.
I'm so excited about all these projects that I'm having a hard time waiting a week to get started! So I started a new quilt to distract me.
(Don't mind me, just a little administrative business to claim my blog on BlogLovin: Follow my blog with Bloglovin!)
